I started working with parents and families in 1995 for an Oxford-based charity, ‘The Family Nurturing Network’, delivering the Carolyn Webster-Stratton and Steven Bavolek’s Parenting Programmes in schools and family centres. I then went on to work for ‘Parentline Plus’, a national parenting charity, running small groups and working one-to-one with parents.
Since then, I have been working freelance in Oxfordshire with the support of the Oxford Parenting Development Team (OPDT). With the OPDT I have been part of the team to train other professionals using an accredited programme to run parent groups and individually with parents in the county. I work with families who have children on the Autistic Spectrum and  children with ADHD.
Evidence based Parenting Programmes I am trained in and relevant qualifications:

• The Incredible Years Parenting Programme – Carolyn Webster Stratton
• Family Links – The Parenting Puzzle
• Family Lives (formally Parentline Plus)
• Take Three Programme – Parent Talk
• Strengthening Families
• Transition Workshops for parents of children moving from primary to secondary school.

• Adults Learning 7307 stage 1 (Adult Teaching Certificate)
• Member of Parenting UK
• Trustee/Executive member of the Oxfordshire Parenting Forum
